Working alongside Clarke Hopkins Clarke architects we assisted to develop the broad vision and site planning principles for this innovative Baptcare Social Housing masterplan, which aims to create communities which are vibrant, connected , equitable and accessible and also exemplary in terms of environmental sustainability.

The masterplan proposed a series of distinct walkable neighbourhoods which would create a sense of community where every person is cherished, by providing foundational stability for individuals and families. The built form aimed to provide efficiently designed affordable homes which were practical and livable, which also integrated sustainability measures.

The masterplan also embedded community facilities and infrastructure which was designed to promote health and well-being, including walkable neighbourhoods serviced by a network of interconnected pedestrian and cycling networks.

Finally to ensure that all residents have the ability to access most of their everyday needs within a connected community, that offers a broad range of goods and services such as retail, commercial, health, recreational, educational and job opportunities.
