From innovative health and wellness spaces to compassionate seniors’ living communities, transformative educational settings, inclusive childcare facilities, and empowering projects for individuals with disabilities, we craft environments that truly make a difference.

Our thoughtful approach harmonises nature with human-centered design principles, fostering sustainable and biodiverse spaces that inspire, rejuvenate, and promote inclusivity.

This includes biophilic and universal design principles embedded into our projects, creating sanctuaries within urban hospital and healthcare settings. We understand the critical role the built environment and landscape play in the wellbeing of healthcare consumers, staff, and families.

In every project, our goal is to design and plan spaces that enhance, enable, and support quality of life.

In our approach to health and wellness projects, we consistently advocate for the wellbeing of all users – patients, visitors, staff, students, administrators, and other healthcare precinct roles. We do this while addressing client, operator and construction requirements and supporting the operational as well as architectural complexities of creating healing and aesthetically pleasing public spaces.

From planning precincts to detailed design scale, championing our design philosophy for exceptional public spaces and gardens, we ensure that places we create offer inviting, welcoming, comfortable, inclusive and intuitive experiences.

We understand the importance of user experience and each place we create contributes to the lasting impressions of the healthcare setting, at all scales.

We understand at detail scale the importance of a seamless indoor/outdoor experience, and at precinct scale, creating generous public domain areas.

At neighbourhood scale, we consider the relationship with broader character and context, connections to local movement networks and blue green corridors.

Our healthcare projects focus on providing culturally welcoming, safe and connected spaces to support Aboriginal people and their community when accessing healthcare and employment.

In particular, utilising collaborative design workshops which have a focus on Country allows a comprehensive design founded in appreciation and respect for place and culture.

To support this, Tract has commenced a formal reconciliation journey through the implementation of a Reconciliation Action Plan which is endorsed by Reconciliation Australia.
