Little Hall is a landmark student accommodation project located in Carlton, Victoria, developed by the University of Melbourne. Positioned between the Parkville campus and Melbourne’s CBD, it offers premium apartment-style living for up to 669 residents.
The landscape architecture for Little Hall plays a vital role in shaping the student’s experience. Despite its compact footprint, the design delivers a series of green, communal spaces that foster wellbeing, connection, and cultural reflection. Rooftop gardens, courtyards, and terraces are integrated with native planting and biophilic design principles to create a calm, shaded retreat within the urban environment.
Carefully crafted outdoor spaces complement the building’s academic and social facilities, which include study areas, a gym, communal dining, and music rooms.
