We are engaged by Global Power Generation Australia to assist with the environmental and planning approvals for the Darlington Wind Farm project.

Darlington wind farm

Located some 200kms west of Melbourne, and within one of Victoria’s six Renewable Energy Zones, the proposed Darlington Wind Farm is anticipated to generated around 325MW of energy when constructed. Tract has been assisting Global Power Generation as the lead consultant for the project since 2020.

Tract’s role to date has included:

  • Preparing the EES Referral and EES Study Program.
  • Coordinating the instruction, briefing and management of various technical consultants.
  • Preparing EES chapters.
  • Preparing the land use and planning impact assessment.
  • Preparing the social impact assessment.
  • Presenting to the project’s technical reference group comprising local, state and federal government agencies.
  • Assisting with GIS mapping.
  • Assisting with the delivery of GPG’s stakeholder and community consultation program.
