Future Park International Design Competition
We are very pleased to be able to share our entry for the Future Park International Design Competition.
Our design titled ‘Bay Park’ was shortlisted from a field of 125 entries from 20 countries. We’d like to congratulate our design team, particularly Greg Teague and Tom Emrys-Evans who had a fantastic idea which they developed into a well-considered design proposal that addresses the needs of future Melbournians.
Greg and Tom’s involvement in a number of large scale infrastructure projects across Melbourne gave them the idea of using the waste generated by these projects to create a new peninsula in Port Phillip Bay, easily accessible from the quickly developing and densifying areas of Melbourne’s CBD and inner west and south-west.

Bay Park will be a new landscape destination where the city meets the water, in a place that has the potential to serve the largest growth area in central Melbourne. It will provide places for all kinds of leisure, places to meet, places for special events and places for people to simply breathe and leave their cares behind.
