Contributing to Community

As planners and designers of the built environment, largely in an urban context, we are well placed to make a tangible contribution to social equity.

Our contributions are often as pro bono work, and we are pleased to be in a position to do so.
Some of the recent pro bono work that we have undertaken has been for
  • Hanover Organisation, design for their facility in South Melbourne (crisis accommodation)
  • Starlight Children’s Foundation to design an outdoor garden at Monash Children’s Hospital
  • Ronald McDonald House, design work at Monash Children’s Hospital
  • My Park Rules Competition, Marrickville Public School (NSW) designing part of the campus of a primary school in western Sydney in need of improvements. Marrickville PS were the winners of a competition run by the AILA and 202020Vision called ‘My Park Rules’
  • Smiths Beach Lifesaving Facility on Phillip Island design work
  • Lighthouse Foundation crisis accommodation house in Bonbeach in partnership with Frasers
  • MPavilion temporary architectural commission in the Queen Victoria Gardens, Melbourne in which free cultural events are hosted over the summer months
  • Good Cycles, not for profit. 100% of revenue from their bicycle shop and courses, funds community programs for refugees and disadvantaged. Tract provided planning and design advice for the establishment of their workshop and training centre in Docklands
